App logs out when phone is restarted?

I have an LG Optimus 3D Max. I use the Phereo app all the time. It used to stay logged in if I restarted my phone, but for the past couple of months I have had to login again each time I power my phone off and on.

Is this a bug or a feature?

Ideally, I'd like to set the app up and have it stay set up. I use a complex password and it's a (small) pain to have to re-enter it each time i restart my phone.

I’d like to tell you why this problem occurs: your account session has been lost because the application data is stored in the SD card. This problem doesn’t occur if the application is stored in your phone memory. The reasons of such strange behavior - is the design features of Android OS. However, there are workarounds and we’re working over them. In the coming days we're planning to release version 2.9, but it will not include a fix to your problem.
