Well I'm quite confused.

Now that the pre-moderation system is off, an uploaded image is immediately visible to everybody. Yesterday, I uploaded a topless image, and sure enough, it showed up publicly right away. But similar images would be moderated to "15+" in the past, and there was no indicator in my Photo Organizer. I looked, but couldn't find any way to add the age restriction myself. This morning I noticed that the image is blocked completely, even though the content should be acceptable.

What's the proper way to upload tasteful nude images now? Is there a right way? Are they even welcome?

I'm happy to comply with whatever the standards and procedures are, I just cant figure them out.

The simplest thing would be to allow the user to designate the age restriction themselves. Nearly all would comply, I'd think.

I checked the image of which you speak. It was marked by the moderator as 18+. These images are not visible to anyone on the site. But I agree with you that this image is quite suitable for 15+.
So I changed the mark and now your image is available for other users.

I didn't know there was both a 15+ and an 18+ mark, all I had seen was the 15+. I don't particularly care which it's marked as, but there seems to be a hole in the system.

I initially uploaded it and it was available to everybody... and of course that's not right. But after a moderator saw it, it was marked with the slashed circle. It wasn't even visible when I logged in under my personal account.

I'm just looking for the right way to upload without offending anybody, that's all. I'm still not sure I understand the system (if still there is one), but I'll try another image soon and see what happens.

I would gladly mark my images "18+" if I had the option.

No, this is absolutely correct behavior. As you said, reviewing of content now occurs only after the upload on the site. Also, it's possible that we will not be able to check some of the images, in that case the users themselves should report a policy violation.

I note that the image with 18+ is never publicly visible on the site because our site is not a erotic resource
