phereo app for android hdmi mini pcs more view modes needed

Postby acem77 » Fri Mar 01, 2013 5:10 am

I just bought a android based mini pc that plugs right in to the tv hdmi port.
I also installed the phereo app, it works but the ratio is off when i pick view mode and parallel.
could a view option be included to correct the ratio. maybe some force 3d support across the hdmi port.
I see the 3d option but is not selectable.

thanks

We need more information to understand your issue.

Yes, you can connect your phone to monitor. You will see the Phereo application screen on your display if it launched. Communication between the application and the display provides the firmware of your phone, therefore we can not guarantee the correctness display on your monitor.

For example, the application works fine with LG Optimus 3D phone and Acer GN245HQ monitor: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... =1&theater

The 3D viewing mode is available also on our testing system, but I think that you do not have a NVIDIA 3D Vision and so you can not see native 3D. Side-by-Side viewing mode? Ok, no problem! You can choose the viewing mode as a cross and as a parallel.

But I think that the images on your monitor is displayed in a vertical position, right?

The side by side would be good but the ratio is off. there is a full screen & tv mode when viewing images on phereos web site.
the tv mode would be the option the phereo app needs to to keep the correct aspect ration when view sbs content on my LG tv.

Disappointed the app update did not support the full screen TV mode for devices that can connect to a 3d tv.
Not sure if this only a problem on my older passive lg tvs. The parallel view option still looks stretched on a my tv.
As I said in the post above. A full screen parallel mode would be needed that mimics the 3D TV web viewer option.

Your TV displays the following screen?

If not, send us a screenshot, otherwise we will not be able to understand the cause of the issue.

while in parallel mode in the app settings and using sbs 3d viewing on the tv the image is stretched, not sure if this is an early lg tv issue, as i get the same
ratio issue when connecting my lg thrill with hdmi or using dlna.

also is there a what to hide the information at the bottom? it would be nice to have 100% clean view of the image.
