I would usually just take two pics one after the other and then - if on mobile - compose them into a stereo image using 3D Steroid Pro (Android). There is an iOS version for iPhone.

I have version 3.4.2 of the app installed on my new Huawei Mate 8 phone. The app functions OK, but is it still being developed further?

I ask for a few reasons.

I purchased an inexpensive VR headset for several reasons, one was to be able to view and share parallel pair images I've created, using the headset with my Huawei Android phone.

The issue I have is that I see no way to get the app to allow input from a Bluetooth controller so I can change images being viewed. Please correct me if I'm incorrect, but the app has only two choices to change images, swipe and side touch. If either one of these options are selected, I still cannot get the app to move from one selected image to the next image using my controller.

With the phone inserted into my headset, there is no way to manually touch the screen or buttons, I would have to take the phone out each time just to change images. I can use my Bluetooth controller perfectly while viewing my parallel 3D images on Flickr, easily changing from one image to the next in either direction from my main gallery or any album, all while the phone remains inside the headset.

For this reason I stopped using the Phereo app and only use Flickr for viewing 3D images with my VR headset.

Secondly, quite a few people have requested repeatedly for the ability to be added so the app can access locally stored 3D images on a device's internal storage, so people can easily view their images without them having to be uploaded. Seems to be no response from developers in Google Store to requests.

And last, how about adding some sort of slideshow mode, so one can select a Phereo category, or an individual member's album or entire photo gallery, or possibly select all the people a member follows, and the app automatically advances from one image to the next at set intervals within that selected option.

If any of this is already available and I'm somehow missing how to accomplish the tasks with the app, please let me know how and I'll surely use the app again.

Thanks for any reply,
~ Craig ~

Is the APK available to download outside of the Play Store? For some reason, the RED Hydrogen One with a 3D display is not listed as compatible and I would like to try it out anyways but the Play Store is blocking me.

Yes, you can download apk via alternative services, like https://apkpure.net/store/apps/details?id=com.phereo

I also want note what the Pherep application will most likely be deleted soon from Google Play, because it does not support modern requirements of Android SDK for Google Play.

Also worth noting that I don't think the Android app will work at all, even if you can download it.

We were required by AWS to update the servers to use https from http, and the Android APK only knows how to talk http. Without the security I don't think this will connect, but I'm not really a web expert.

If someone tries the old app it would be worth knowing either way. The last time I was able to try it on my ancient HTC Evo 3D, it could show the base web page, but showing 3D would not work.

We were unable to get the source code for the app from Sergey, so only option now is to write something new. Might be worth doing for something like Leiapad.
