If I embed more than one Phereo on a web page, the same 4 javascript files are reloaded for each image I embed. Since each load is about 120k bytes, this is not trivial.

And also multiple loads of the same 60k byte CSS file!

Is there some way to suppress the loading of all that extra javascript? I get hugely bloated pages.

We've changed the logic of the embed, now loaded only the necessary files for embed. Unfortunately, each embed must use their downloaded files. But technically impossible to load only one JS file for two or more embed.
