Borders around photos

Postby San10 » Thu Nov 24, 2016 9:49 am

I see the most beautiful photos here. But then some of them have a dead ugly distracting frame around them.
Now i know that is a personal opinion and everybody is free to do so.
But what do you think of it?
Unfortunately i cant include a poll
But am curious who agree and who dont.

Well, just take a look at my photo stream and it's quite obvious which way I lean ... lol! :D

As long as the image doesn't have windows violations, I like frames and borders, especially when it can enhance the TTW 3D effect or is presented in an out of box / frame styling.

I agree with darkonus. Most of my images are borderless but if I want to emphasise the TTW effect I'll often create a border for that window.
e.g. Image
For me as long as there is no window violation there is no distraction.
