You need open the image in full screen mode and then tap by the bottom area (this area should appear). Now swipe the area to left and you will see the info area of the image. This area contains a save image button.

In fact the image is always saved in original quality. However, there is a situation when the image quality is reduced when you see it through the gallery. This is due to incorrect choice of interpolation mode. But we are not to blame for this. The issue in the firmware of 3D device.
